After taking Jade’s Healthy Lifestyle class and yoga I’m finally on a road to being a healthier me. Before taking yoga I was afraid that I would not be able to get into the yoga positions because I’m out of shape and overweight. But I decided to start anyway in hope that the yoga stretches would help my back pain. Theresa’s classes are very gentle and if you have difficulty she has modifications to make it work for you. It was helpful- especially improving my agility. I started doing chair yoga variations and then was shown how to get up from the mat by myself. Hooray for me!
I want to be more independent. Now I am confident and not afraid to fall because I can get up from the floor by myself. The class has helped me improve balance that has also helped me catch myself from falling already. I am impressed and thankful. Connie B.

The stretching and relaxation techniques of Yoga are a great alternative to pain medications. Jade has helped me deal with the pain of adhesions following surgery. Linda K.
